Both Free and Premium users get the same recipe language access — tier doesn't change which languages are available. We're working on bringing recipe content to the other UI languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Thai are on the roadmap.

Yes. Swoodie creates an anonymous account automatically — no email or password required. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and we never sell your personal data.

Our database uses row-level security and all API keys are stored server-side — never in the app. Photos from Swoodie Scan are processed in real-time and never permanently stored. You can delete all your data at any time from the app settings. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

Cancel anytime through your device's app store settings — Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, Google Play → Subscriptions on Android. Not inside the Swoodie app.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. After cancellation, you keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period. For refunds, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support directly.

Partially. Already-loaded recipes, saved favorites, and Cooking Mode work without a connection. AI features (Chef AI, Scan, Meal Planner) need internet.

Recipes you've viewed and saved favorites stay cached on your device. Barcode scans for previously-seen products work offline thanks to a local cache. Features that need fresh data — Chef AI, Swoodie Scan, AI Meal Planner, Recipe Vault imports, Together Mode — require an internet connection.

AI estimates from photo and text are typically within 10–20% of real values for common foods. The barcode scanner is much more precise — it pulls verified packaged-food nutrition.

AI estimates are less reliable for unusual portions or mixed dishes. They're great for general tracking and trends, not for precise medical or therapeutic nutrition. Always verify allergens and dietary suitability before consumption, especially if you have allergies, intolerances, or specific medical conditions.

Yes. Recipe Vault imports from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube links. Recipe Catcher imports from any blog URL, pasted text, or a photo of a cookbook page.
